In 1974, thanks to the vision and commitment of Mr Mirto and his wife Gabriella, Bertin Mirto was founded in Monselice (Padua) as a small family-run business. With dedication and passion, the company began selling and servicing sewing machines, specialising in those used for knitwear weaving and linking. Those years marked a period of great growth and vitality for the local textile sector, with artisanal workshops multiplying and proudly producing garments of all kinds.
Over time, inevitable changes brought new challenges: the relocation of production transformed the market, leaving space only for the most specialised and creative workshops. For Bertin, this period represented a crucial test.
Amid rapid technological developments and increasing complexity, the company responded with determination, investing in training and innovation, expanding its expertise and looking beyond traditional boundaries.
In 2006, under the leadership of Marco Bertin, the second generation took the helm and transformed the family business into a modern, dynamic organisation, capable of consolidating its heritage while building for the future. Since then, Bertin Srl has intensified its commitment to the professional washing, finishing and textile treatment sectors, with the aim of offering increasingly comprehensive and tailor-made solutions.
